For Kids At Caister
Excitement and expectations run high
on holiday, especially for children. Our Kids’ Clubs for different age
groups, professionally run by our experienced FunStars, can be a great
get-together and “ice-breaker” for kids
Our Clubs are free, usually taking place later on in the morning,
when you can just come along to meet and make friends, join in the fun
and enjoy the fantasic variety of kids' entertainment. And, as you’ll
find out, they’re just part of a wider programme of popular and healthy
activities for children.
Little Cubs for 1-4's
A
daily get-together for pre-school children, each day bringing something
new, with lots of materials provided for making, doing or painting in a
safe environment. Sessions for this kids' club vary daily, and are
well-organised by FunStars experienced with little ones. The
imaginative activities and events range from soft play to ‘paint-away’
days and are great for making new friends.
Club R&B for 5-11's
Join
Rory the Tiger and Bradley Bear for a range of popular activities,
music, crafts, team games and exercise specially created for energetic
kids aged 5-11. There’s a membership badge for everyone who joins Club
R&B, and all games and competitions earn points for your team which
roll over into the ‘Rory & Bradley Fun Factor’ in the evening -
another free fun session.
The NEW Club for 9-12's
Brand new club for 2011
with lots of exciting and creative activities including and
Introduction to Orienteering in the Wildlife Detectives... Annabel's
Creative Kitchen, Magic Exposed, It's not rocket science and Circus
school. Come along to the welcome meeting on the first day of your
break to find out more. Every child will be given a wristband to wear
and on the final evening of their holiday will be presented with a
certificate. Arts and crafts session will take place once a break, non
character related, stage school and performances for the kids to learn
T-CO Zone Teens
Mobile phones at
the ready to join in the Tech Treasure hunt, learn some Circus skills
and try your hand at archery, fencing or even fishing. *T-Co takes
places in summer school holidays only, Come along to the welcome
meeting on the first day of your break to find out more. At other times
they are welcome to join in the other activities with younger siblings
should they wish to.

Annabel's Creative
Kitchen
Exclusive to Haven,
child food guru Annabel Karmel MBE has created these popular sessions
run on all Parks, all season, by Haven FunStars. Cake decorating and
fun foodie games designed by Annabel to help children learn more about
food, where it comes from and encourage healthy eating.
Wildlife Detectives -
NEW Activities 5-11's
Wildlife
Detectives is even more exciting this year with bug hunts and family
nature walks that will have you out and about exploring with magnifying
glasses, looking for wildlife clues to nature’s seasonal wonders. In
partnership with the Wildlife Trusts, there’s even more outdoor family
fun with every child receiving a free wildlife activity booklet. There
will be new introductory orienteering sessions for adventurous children
aged 9 and over. Orienteering is cunning running, where navigation
counts as much as speed! Over the summer months there will be beach
activities including beachcomber treasure hunts and rock pool rambles.
Not to me missed are “live” animal encounters! Don’t forget to pack
your wellies… as rain or shine – these activities will have you out
& about puddle jumping and having fun making sure you make the most
of every minute of your holiday whatever the weather!

Our childrens'
activities are not a child minding facility. Children remain the
responsibility of parents and we require parents to stay with their
children throughout Little Cubs for 1-4's and Club R&B for 5-11's.

Water Fun At Caister
We have
a whole range of exciting, water-based activities for all ages and
abilities.
Many are
free, some are included in the Kids Alive programme, whilst others are
‘pay as you go’ water activities. From walking on water to
powering through it, get aqua-active! Try Water Confidence for the
little ones, or something completely different with the Water Walkerz.
Heated Indoor Pool†**
Join in the fun at the
refurbished Heated Indoor Fun Pool with Slide and Bubble Pool. The Pool
is manned at all times by Lifeguards to ensure your safety, while
session bathing may occur during peak times. Opening times to all
guests are 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm every day. You can also join in
with a range of exciting water activities too.
Water Walkerz*
Step inside the giant
bubble and you’re soon spherical hysterical. Probably the wackiest
exercise routine ever invented.
Suitable for 8+ yrs.
Maximum weight limit 16 stone/102kg.

Aqua Gliders*
Play dodgems or just
whiz round the pool on these small powered inflatables which are
similar to jet skis, only very pool and children friendly.
Suitable for 5-7yrs
wearing a life vest, and 8+ yrs who must be able to swim 25m unaided.
Ideally for children and young adults.
Available throughout
the season.
AquaJets*
Neat little powered
submersibles creating the feel and excitement of underwater exploration
as you turn, twist and dive through the water.

Fun Inflatables
The noise and the
action really steps up when these big, fun inflatables hit the pool. So
popular they’re now on all Parks.

Water Confidence
Professional
Instructors provide free courses approved by the Swimming Teachers
Association (STA). Little ones can gain confidence in the water or
learn to swim, absolutely free. Not only will they have a great time,
the children will take away their very own certificate presented live
on stage - a great memory to keep.

Swimming**
If
you fancy a proper swim, our pools are really spacious and great for
swimming lengths, just like at your local pool. So, if activities
aren’t your thing, why not enjoy a leisurely swim whenever it suits you!
Turbo Paddlers*
A sort of pool pedalo -
the faster you pedal the more furious the fun, thrashing up a storm as
you go.
Please note:
For access, children
under 8 and non-swimmers under 14 MUST be accompanied by a responsible
adult. An adult may be responsible for only 2 children under 8 at any
one time. Non-swimmers and beginners must not go out of their depth and
wearing approved swimming aids is highly recommended.
Thorough and important
safety factors are designed into all our pool areas. Poolwatch ensures
that fully qualified Lifeguards are patrolling all areas and ensuring
safe behaviour at all times for you and your family.
We operate a booking
system for these activities due to their popularity. Please make sure
you reserve your place when you arrive.

also an opportunity to work on a few moves of your own. This is a fun

are three Activity Pass Levels. Each Level includes Activity Pass
Vouchers which are then exchanged for the activity of your choice when
you arrive on holiday. Each Activity Pass Voucher is per person and
most activities and coaching only require one Activity Pass Voucher per
person.

Mini-sports at Caister
FREE
starter sessions are really great for getting 3 to 8 year olds
interested and active in different and interesting sports. We provide
all the equipment, with fully qualified Instructors on hand to guide
and encourage boys and girls in an exciting choice of sports
activities. So bring yours along to have a go at mini archery and mini
tennis. Who knows, if there’s a hidden talent this could be just the
opportunity to discover it.

Direct Beach Access
You are able to access
the Caister-on-Sea Beach directly from the Park. The beach is backed by
low dunes and is wide and sandy. It is one of Great Yarmouth’s most
beautiful unspoilt beaches. It is perfect for sunbathing and building
sandcastles. Why don't you bring your deck chairs and take a relaxing
seat whilst the children splash around in the sea?
Dogs are allowed onto
this large stretch of beach, however we ask that dog owners are
responsible for ensuring you leave the beach as you find it.
